Quest Yo Review 2021

Function or how Quest Yo works?

Sometimes you might receive messages from people you don’t want to interact with. Or, you might get more invitations than you can handle. If this is the case, you have the option to block other users. This is especially useful if someone is behaving inappropriately, or not following the site’s code of conduct. Once you engage the “block user” feature, you will no longer see or hear from that person. It is also possible to report these people to the site moderators.

Chat/messaging is an essential feature of modern dating sites and applications. Quest Yo offers the ability to invite or accept a personal chat invitation with another user.

Getting noticed is always a challenge. Therefore, Quest Yo offers a paid feature that will give you priority status on the site. You will be given a higher listing and be able to see others with the same feature. This is a great way to be more visible and increase your chances of matching.

Basic searches are not available. Also, more specialized searches based on filters (gender, age, photo, users online now) are not available.

Applications and Mobile Versions

Quest Yo does not have a responsive web design, so it may appear different on your phone or tablet than it does on your computer. It may also be difficult to use all features and functions. Unfortunately, there are no applications for Android or iOS devices.

Privacy and anonymity

Online dating generally falls into “public” and “private” categories. In the case of public dating, all user profiles are visible, even to unregistered users. Conversely, private dating sites protect anonymity and privacy by making this content unavailable to users that are not registered.

User profiles are visible to anyone not registered with the service. Therefore, anyone could potentially see your profile, or information. This means users should take caution with what kind of information they share on the platform.

Prevention of false profiles and fraud

Terms of Service (Tos) reveal the site uses moderators or animateurs to control chats. Therefore, users will not have an authentic experience. These chats are often with bots, or moderators using copy/pasted text. There is also no option to actually date the moderators or animateurs.

Registration for Quest Yo does not require a confirmation of your email address. Therefore, it is possible that you may find fake or fraudulent profiles on the site. Be careful what information you choose to share and with whom you interact.

Profile photos and images that users upload to dating do not go through any moderated approval process. Therefore, you may be surprised by what you can find on: fraudulent profiles (of celebrities, popular movie characters, or even cats and dogs). Since manual photo approval is intended to prevent exactly this problem, fraudulent or fake profiles may be common and recognizable based on the photo alone. Manual approval also helps filter out objectionable and explicit photos that users occasionally upload to dating sites.

Terms and Conditions (TOS)

This dating site has its Terms accessible (you will find a link to them on the main page). We recommend that you read them before registering. Although the text can be lengthy, it is important to familiarize yourself with it.
